Festive Gift Wrapping

That time of year is here once again which means- I can finally put my gift wrapping skills to use! If gift wrapping was a profession I think I would be the happiest girl in the world. Gift wrapping is my favourite part of giving gifts to others, and I’m the kind of girl who has to make sure a present looks as perfect as I can make it before I give it to someone. Finding matching ribbons, cute wrapping paper and bows has to be the most exciting part of it all for me and since I love decorating and making things look pretty, you could say I get a bit into the whole thing. I don’t always get the corners right, and some gifts turn out a bit lumpy with imperfections but I think I did exceptionally okay this year! If you’re looking for some quick and easy gift and wrapping ideas, here are a few of my top picks:

Chapters- The wrapping paper, ribbon and bows are all from here! This is my favourite place to get small gift fillers if you need to add more to your already picked out gifts.

Urban Outfitters- My go to shop for almost everything. Boho room decor, cozy socks, clothes, books, cameras- it can be a bit pricey but it’s worth it if you’re looking for creative gift ideas.

Lush- Prepackaged and wrapped gifts- need I say more? If you’re not into giftwrapping, Lush has a handfull of prewrapped gift baskets to choose from. The gold present is from Lush and not only did it look lovely, it smelled heavenly too!

Pretty In Plaid

I’m starting a mini collection of knee high socks because a girl can’t just have one pair, right? right? I’m a sucker for plaid skirts and knee high socks that you can just throw a comfy sweater over- it’s my favourite go to outfit. The sweater and skirt are so versatile that they can go with practically anything which makes them fun to mix and match with. Lately, I’ve been experimenting a bit with my style by making things a bit more exciting and trying things I haven’t been confident enough to try in the past. I’ve always wanted a hat that I could top off any outfit with and I have to admit, this hat makes me feel pretty fancy. Since the winter weather is seemingly nowhere in sight I felt it was the perfect time to wear this school-girl inspired outfit  to try something a little different. Both the skirt and pullover sweater are from a local Brandy Melville shop!
