Monday Motivation

Have you been longing to make positive changes to your life, but have no idea where to start? Why not start today?! Whether you want to organize your blog, start up a new project, reconnect with old friends, or engage in some self discovery- Monday is the best day of the week to start. Instead of dreading Mondays, we should look forward to them for being the gifts that they are; a new, fresh start.

Here’s what you can do to help start your week off right and keep yourself motivated this Monday:

Eat a healthy breakfast

It may seem obvious, but the way you start off your day has a huge influence on how you feel the rest of your day. If you eat a healthy breakfast, you’ll be more motivated to stay healthy throughout the rest of your day, and maybe even get in a work out where you can.

Make a list of goals

It doesn’t have to be a long list, and your goals don’t have to be too extravagant- it’s okay to start off slow. Making a list of goals will keep you focused on what you want to accomplish and what you need to spend your time doing. It’s the best way to distance yourself from distractions and stay on track!

Write out steps to achieve those goals

How are you going to achieve your goals? It’s easy to write down our dreams and goals on a piece of paper and call it a day, but what about actually taking steps to making those dreams a reality? Write out a few of the main actions you need to take to get to where you want to be- and give yourself a time frame so that you can keep moving forward instead of stalling at the same list you made a month ago.

Go outside

Take a walk, embrace nature- breathe in, breathe out. Relax. This one doesn’t need much explaining, just trust me, you will feel better!

Seek Inspiration

Whether it be from photos, music, films, quotes, or a role-model, inspiration is what keeps us going when we think success is out of reach. If you’re feeling tired and uninspired, you may simply need to find new inspiring work that can bring back that spark and help you feel motivated again.

Tell yourself something positive- whether it’s something you have going for you, what you are blessed with, or a talent you possess. It’s important to know you are worthy and are more than your flaws. We are our worst critics, but in order to stay motivated, positivity is key- which is why it can be so difficult.

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday full of health, happiness and changes! What do you do to get out of your Monday funk?

Stay motivated lovely readers ♥
