This May has ended before I even really felt it begin- it seems like time has flown by quicker than ever, which means there is only a month left for me to get everything I need for my backpacking trip around Europe! (Oh. My. God) Where did the time go?
I’ve started to slowly ease into planning my trip with more detail, and buy everything that I will need to spend two months trekking across the cobblestone streets of Europe (I can’t wait to share my big plans with you all!). I recently bought the Instax Mini 8 for $100CAD and have to say it was one of the best purchases I’ve made recently. I love polaroid photos and this camera is such a simple, modern way to take lovely vintage looking polaroid photos that I will definitely be taking during my trip.
I also recently realized I do not own a single pair of sandals (I’m the worst shoe shopper in the world and only go when my only other option would be to walk around barefoot). So, I completed that task rather easily after heading over to Topshop and finding an extremely comfortable and cute pair of sandals for only $45CAD! The cat eye sunglasses are also from Topshop and were $22CAD which was a great price for such a stylish pair of sunnies I know I’ll be needing this summer!
Then of course I couldn’t resist the temptation that is Sephora and ended up walking out with a new Smashbox blush and a pair of false eyelashes. I never even considered using false eyelashes until trying them yesterday and learning to apply them the right way. They looked amazing and I felt beautiful for the night with such long and luscious lashes- it really was the ultimate confidence boost for me. I’d recommend anyone who wants to try false eyelashes to try the regular Sephora pairs to see if they’re your thing.
That’s it for my Sunday Roundup and my quick inside look at my travel shopping routine.
